FAMILY
A family in Languedoc for 6 generations
In 1872, Etienne-Maurice Jeanjean bought a parcel of vines, opened an inn and started a wine business in St Félix de Lodez, north of Montpellier; the Jeanjean family’s wine-making adventure had just begun! Today, Brigitte Jeanjean represents the 6th generation alongside her cousins, Frédéric and Philippe, and her sister Elisabeth. For 150 years, the Jeanjean family has been present in St Félix de Lodez, and the vineyard has given way to wonderful properties in the Languedoc.

A STYLE OF SHINING WINES
Our signature
Matthieu Carliez, Technical Director, has been working for nearly 20 years alongside Brigitte Jeanjean, with whom they make wines based on fruit, freshness, brilliance and pleasure. This style is also the result of the work of Matthieu and his team who seek year after year to reveal the most authentic terroir of each vintage.
TERROIRS
The Languedoc and its terroirs
The Jeanjean family has always believed in the tremendous potential of the Languedoc appellations. Nicknamed the “explorers of the vineyard”, Hughes and Bernard (5th generation) have passed on to their children this enthusiasm in the quest for exceptional terroirs.
THE TEAM
Vignobles Jeanjean is made up of 26 people who work daily to offer you wines that reflect their terroir and their region.
BRIGITTE JEANJEAN
The great lady
Brigitte joined the family company in 1992 and became export sales manager in 2000, after a few years spent in Quebec, which has since become her adopted province! In love with nature and the simple and beautiful things in life, her passion is to ride her Triumph motorcycle in the Languedoc region.
Today, as ambassador and director of Vignobles Jeanjean, she promotes the richness of the family’s wines.
BRUNO PEYRE
Commercial Director
Great-grandson of a winegrower, and a winegrower himself in his spare time, Bruno knows the 1000 facets of the Languedoc and a tasting with him will transform you forever! He will make you fall in love with our Languedoc wines and you will not be able to do without them.
MATTHIEU CARLIEZ
Solid as a rock
Matthieu is passionate about geology and music. For nearly 20 vintages at Brigitte Jeanjean’s side, our technical director has been revealing the soul of the terroirs that make up the 9 domains of Vignobles Jeanjean. In the vineyard, he and his team practice “responsible viticulture, which is a natural choice to magnify each terroir, with an approach that combines 6 generations of Languedoc tradition and the spirit of innovation that has always characterized the Jeanjean family. Matthieu is responsible for all the properties, and also closely manages the Domaine du Causse d’Arboras and the Domaine des Rocs.
VINCENT FABRE
Le local of the team
A son of the Corbières, Vincent has known the Languedoc since he was a child and it is with passion that he goes from wine shop to restaurant to introduce our properties.
But Vignobles Jeanjean is also and above all a team that works hard on the properties or in the office and that participates in this beautiful human chain that allows you to taste places, moments of history, experiences, unique.
GUILLAUME GACHES
Our Latino
Guillaume practiced for many years in Chile before coming to bring his beautiful experience to our domains. From the vineyards of the Pacific Rim to the vineyards of the Rhone and the Mediterranean, it’s only a short step. Guillaume is in charge of our Domaine le Pive, and the historical properties of Mas de Lunès and Mas Valoussière.
DAMIEN GUERANDE
Our grain of salt
The joke is easy and yet, Damien is from up there, not far from the salt marshes of Guérande. After having traveled the wine world in far away places like Australia or India, he has been coming to bring us his experience for the last fifteen years. Damien is in charge of the Domaine de Fenouillet, the Domaine du Landeyran, the Mas Neuf and the Domaine des Terres Blanches.
